Calgary Ashtanga Yoga School is an authorized school of the in Mysore, India.  We are proud to be lineage holders of the teachings of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson R. Sharath Jois the current director of the KPJAYI.  

As we are reminded in the verse above, yoga is about keeping the mind steady, in our system we access the mind through the practice of physical postures.  This creates strength or mind, body and spirit.

The Shala is open at 5 am. 
First time students should come at 5:30 am.



The Calgary Ashtanga Yoga School is open for everyone.  Our teacher said, "Sick people, healthy people, young people, old people, everyone can do this yoga, only lazy people can't do this yoga."
